Now that summer is ending and the paddle board season is wrapping up you may think to yourself “what in the world do I do now?” There are a number of things that you can do to keep you busy during the off season. If you are someone who paddle boards every single day and cannot live without it. Then you need to invest in a wet or dry suit this is going to keep your body warm when you are stand up paddle boarding I the cold waters. It makes SUP all year long possible. The first thing you can do is if you have a heated pool you can practice your balance in the pool. Now some pools are not going to be big enough for you to move around. However, you can still practice your balance on your paddle board. You can even do some paddle board yoga. This does not require you to use your paddle so this would be a perfect activity to do in your pool. Make sure you are away from the sides just in case you fall of your board you do not want to get hurt. If you do not have a pool there are still ways to practice.
All you need is those half exercise balls with the plastic platform and your oar and you are good to start working on your balance and form for next season. All these are great tips to help keep you working on your paddle board game and continuing to get even better even though the season has ended. Keep on paddling!
